Our core target audience will mostly be teens. This will be any gender teenager between 13-19 and perhaps early twenties. Boys and girls will be able to watch  this as it might attracted to both gender audiences.

Our wider target audience may be adults in their twenties who enjoy teen comedies which also have blood and violence. This could also appeal to a larger London audience who enjoy teen films.            

 

We will be an independent film but we plan to attract our audience with our title sequence film. We will use social networking such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. to promote our movie to a wider public audience. We may create some general hype around social networking like news and competitions on a Facebook/twitter page of the film which will create a buzz to the public. We have to use social networking like youtube or Tumblr or Vine also. It will be good to use social networking because we are not a mainstream film so we can not afford proper advertisements or print posters.

                   

                                                                                                                                                                   We may choose to address our audience in our title sequence with certain social groups or stereotypes. As it is a teen drama we may choose to use different stereotype social groups such as the nerds, the jock, the weird guy, the hot girl etc. This may also help the audience relate to these characters as we are sure they are already familiar with these types of stereotype.
