the weather for filming next week

I have taken a screen print of the weather for next week between Tuesday 3rd and the 6th of February. Me and my group have done this as this will help us to plan ahead for our filming. We start filming on Tuesday and according to the weather it will rain on tuesday which is why our title sequence shots will be in-doors. The rest of the week has quite low temperatures which could result in more rain or even snow. This is why me and my group have planned ahead and plan to film the majority if not all of our shots in-doors. As our movie is based inside in a high school or college we will not have the problem of weather or snow.

Feedback for pitch

Since we got the feedback for the pitch, we have carefully thought about how long the title would take, however we are confident that Tim's speech would not make the sequence too long as they were concerned. Also, the fact that we didn't have a production schedule at the time was a concern, however we did manage to make one soon after this as we realised how important organisation was, with our experience from The Breakfast Club helping us realise this.

Technology skills audit part 2&3 - Charlie

JVC GY HMLOOE;
The JVC GY HMLOOE has allowed me to accurately film our film without any major problems and has not given us too many problems in the quality of filming. It is an expensive piece of equipment that allows you to film well and makes the production look more realistic. This has helped me develop my project because using a professional camera helps give the filming a more clear and real like viewing.

MEMORY CARDS/SD CARDS;
The memory or SD cards have allowed me to be able to save all our film footage accurately and reliably and has enough memory to allow us to film for a long time without becoming full. They are small but play a major part in our hardware. These didn't really help develop the project but did help us film for longer.

FIG -RIG (MAN FROTTO -TRIPOD);
The tripod allows you to be able to film shots from high angles that we can teach holding the camera. The tripod also helps to keep the camera steady which gives our film a more professional look. Using your hands can sometimes make the camera wobble and this will lead to a unprofessional look. This helps us also give a more realistic camera view and like real movies who use this will stop the camera moving about too much.

VIDEO DRIVE/SSD;
This is the video drive and allows you to also save any work or filming you have done. it is like a memory card but this is built into the camera and nothing is added. The bigger the drive the more footage that can be filmed so this was useful because it helped us develop our project by allowing us to film more.

LIGHTING;
The lighting will help the audience to be able to see the film properly when it is finally finished. If there was no lighting, it may be hard for the audience to see anything when the film is finally completed. Our project developed from this because people where able to see what they where watching and it also gave the title sequence a realistic look.

GARAGE BAND;
Garage band helped us to create different types of music that would suit best to our title sequence. We will most likely use Garage band when making our song for the title sequence. Using garage band helped us develop our project because it helped us create a unique sound that has never been heard before which shows our originality and makes it look more professional that we didn't copy it from somewhere.

MOTION;
Motion is a good editing programme that will help make our title sequence look professional and more realistic when we edit our filming. Motion helped develop our title sequence because motion has hundreds of title sequences which help make a film more professional looking which helps develop our project.

FINAL CUT PRO;
This is also a good editing programme and this will help us to edit all of our footage that we have filmed. This will be used towards the end of the project. Final cut pro also helps us to develop our project because without this we would not be able to to edit our film into the correct way. This would mean trying to film our whole title sequence in one which of course is very hard to do and will most likely be rushed and not look realistic or professional.
